My name is Ben. I haven’t updated this site since 2019, so I am going to work on it a bit more now… I actually forgot I made this until a friend searched me and told me my website was terrible - oops. A bit about me:

I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Some answers to common follow-up questions to that fact:

• New Mexico is in the United States.
• Yes, people live in New Mexico.
• No, I have not seen Breaking Bad.
• Yes, I (kind of..) speak Spanish and no, that is not because I am from New Mexico.

Half of my undergraduate career was done at the University of New Mexico (Go Lobos!) and my degree is from the College of Charleston in Applied Mathematics and Economics. I have a Master’s degree in Biostatistics from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, where I also worked as a research assistant for a couple years. I currently live and work in Detroit, Michigan.

I am using this site mostly to share blog posts about material that interests me and material that I find useful to explain in order for myself to understand better. Hopefully now (as of December 2024 - yikes) I can make it into something a little bit more interesting - stay tuned!
